About Me

DSP/Mr. Shaibu Alhassan Sabi is a seasoned and well-experienced police officer and Trainer of both national and international standards who is passionate about Forensics, Investigations and Training. 

He holds a Masters in Conflict, Peace and Security from Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Center in Accra, LL. B Honors from GIMPA Law School, BSc. Public Administration from GIMPA Greenhill College and a Diploma in Computer science from Institute for the Management of Information Systems in Britain.

Experience

DSP Shaibu Alhassan Sabi boasts 29 years of policing expertise, specializing in forensics, investigations, and training. Currently serving as the Staff Officer in charge of the National Protection Directorate (NAPD) at Police Headquarters since May 2021, he plays a vital role in safeguarding the Diplomatic Corps and supervising escorts for high-ranking officials.

Previously, DSP Sabi excelled as the District Crime Officer at the Achimota Mile 7 Police District, where he oversaw crime detection and prevention. His expertise led to his assignment to the Economic and Organized Crimes Office (EOCO), investigating high-profile cases.

From 2013 to 2017, he served as the Training and Development Coordinator at the Detective Training Academy of the Ghana Police Service.

DSP Sabi holds a Master’s degree in Conflict, Peace, and Security, an LL.B Honors degree, a BSc. in Public Administration, and a Diploma in Computer Science.
