About Me
Michael Kasambata Yaro is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Management Studies of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) with additional responsibility as coordinator of Centre for Peace and Security Research (CPSR) of UPSA since 2019.
Experience
Before joining the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), Michael Kasambata Yaro was the Executive Director of the Centre for Defense and Security-Africa, an organization he founded in March 2019 to undertake research and advocacy in the fields of defense and security in Africa.
He has had a successful career in public service since 2009 as Public Relations and Consumer Services Manager of the National Petroleum Authority until he resigned in February 2019. He also had a sterling media career and worked as Staff Journalist and Anchor at Metro Television from 2002 to 2009.
